The first trimming roller (5) has two opposite, conical flanks (6,7) coated with hard cores (9) for simultaneous trimming of the two opposite flanks (31,32) of the first grinding worm lead (32). There are two more coaxial trimming rollers (10,11), with the second one (10) having a third flank (14) conical side coated with hard core for trimming one flank (35) of the second grinding worm lead (36). The third roller (11) has a fourth conical flank (16), directed to the opposite side, for trimming the other flank (38) of the second grinding worm lead. Pref. the three trimming rollers are clamped to a common shaft (2), or brush. USE/ADVANTAGE - For rolling grinding spear gears. Provides for simultaneously trimming of both grinding worm leads.
