The invention relates to a pipeline network, in particular a fresh-water or clear-water pipeline network (1), having a main pipeline and/or annular pipeline (2) through which a medium flows, and having at least one secondary pipeline (6) which branches off from said main pipeline, forms a bypass and to which at least one removal point (4) is connected, the secondary pipeline (6) opening, with its inflow or outflow pipeline portion or end (8, 9), in a region of the main and/or annular pipeline (2) with a different clear pipeline cross-section. The pipeline network (1) according to the invention is characterised in that at least one secondary pipeline (6) is assigned a pipe widening (7) which is interposed into the main and/or annular pipeline and has a widened clear pipeline cross-section, in that the inflow pipeline portion (8) of the secondary pipeline(s) (6) is connected to the main pipeline (2) in the region of its pipe widening (7), and in that the outflow pipeline portion (9) of the secondary pipeline (6) opens in a region of the main pipeline (2) with the, relatively, reduced pipeline cross-section. The pipeline network (1) according to the invention can provide a pipeline system which effectively counteracts impurities in the medium flowing through the pipeline network (1), and which, even in the case of a multiplicity of removal points (4), is distinguished by comparatively low hydraulic losses (cf.
