An attachment for railway rail base plate on Y-shaped steel sleepers (12) and a method for producing a Y-shaped steel sleeper and a switch consisting of Y-shaped steel sleepers are proposed, in which an insulating plate (19) and a ribbed plate (3) situated on the latter are arranged on the upper flanges (22) of the double-T carriers which are welded together.
