Electrophotographic toner cartridge for use in an electrophotographic apparatus having a housing for inserting such cartridge therein, comprising an elongated hollow body (1) containing the toner and a rotatable tile (10) which in a first position seals a discharging opening (3) of the cartridge and in a second position clears such opening (3), the tile (10) being coupled to a key which can be inserted in a keyhole of the apparatus only if the tiled (10) is in the first position and hooks in the keyhole preventing cartridge removal from the housing for any other position of the tile (10).
