Within the plasticisation cylinder (1), the plasticisation screw (20) has a reverse flow prevention collar, an arrangement also serving as the injection piston. Where the collar moves within the plasticisation cylinder, the latter is lined by an end-flanged bush (6). The fit between bush (6) and its axial housing bore (4) in the plasticisation cylinder (1) permits bush replacement. The end flange (5) at the front of the bush, is attached to the front end of the plasticisation cylinder, by machine screws.
