An anti-cryptogamic prepn. for the treatment of harvested fruits is an aq. suspension of very finely divided Folpet (I), and Thiabendazol (II). The compsns. pref. contain 15-45% (I) and 5-25% (II). These should be micronised to a particle size below 40 microns, and suspended in water, pref. with the necessary adjuvants such as wetting agents, dispersants, thickeners, anti-compacting agents, and stabilisers. The combination of active materials and adjuvants should represent around 60% of the total compsn., the remainder being deionised water. USE/ADVANTAGE - Prevention of fungal attack on the fruit during storage. The combination of (I) and (II) is synergistic and is active against a wide range of fungi.
