The invention makes it possible to hold the dead fish bait in correct contact under difficult fishing conditions, after extended fishing time, which would not be allowed by any other currently known system. The mounting represented is composed of two arms 2 and 3 manufactured from steel wire, on which are provided fastening positions 4 for fixing the hooks. A central pin 6 fixed at the head, at the ring 1 or at the arms 2 and 3 centres the dead fish. Tongues 5 at the rear of the arms reinforce the holding of the fish. A tie 7 fixes the fish between the arms. A leader 8 with an offset weight avoids any rotational effects of the fish and protects the nylon line from the teeth of carnivorous fish. The mounting will be used for any type of fishing with a controlled or dapped dead fish, or other types, in fresh water or in the sea. IMAGE
