The reinforced hinge binding connecting bar (4) is for a cross-country ski boot with moulded plastics sole. The reinforcement consists of a metal anchor plate (1) moulded into the sole of the boot and mechanically attached to the bar. The plate has an angled reinforcing tab (2) at the front and a raised portion (6) with a large cut out (5) for sole bonding at the back. USE/ADVANTAGE - Reinforcing plate for hinge binding. Provides good bonding to the sole. Minimises sole thickness.
