Process for heat treatment of articles made of superalloys with installation of a heat barrier before quenching

The process for heat treatment of articles made of superalloys, applicable especially to turbine discs made of superalloy based on nickel strongly hardened by precipitation of gamma ' phase comprises, before dissolving and quenching, an operation of installing a heat barrier over at least one determined region of the article including the thin parts for which a lower quenching rate is sought with a view to improving some mechanical properties of the article, such as creep resistance and reduction in crack propagation in oxidising atmosphere.
