A process for increasing the soiling- and/or stain-resistance properties of polyamide and wool textiles is developed. Various combinations of sulphonated resin, of sulphonated phenolic compounds, of sulphonated phenolic matter compounds and of aldehyde, of fluorinated chemical compounds, of modified wax emulsions, of acrylic matter and of organic acids of relatively low molecular mass make it possible to obtain an improvement in the antistain properties and in the removal of the soiling.
