A device for rolling lampshade edges and crimping them over the upper and lower metal hoops of lampshades. The system uses a form (6) on which the two lampshade hoops (14, 15) are placed along with the blank (3). Heating plates heat the upper and lower edges of the blank which project beyond the form. A membrane (18) is then sucked onto the form and bends the softened edges of the blank so that they are shaped on said form and fit around said hoops. The device may be used in the lampshade manufacturing industry.
