The device comprises a rectilinear blade (10) with which is associated two sharpened tool units (13,14) under a complementary angle to that of cutting with the blade and a rotating head (12) which supports the control for the blades movement. Each sharpened unit (13,14) comprises a support (15) which defines a chamber for a piston (17) and a pneumatic motor inserted in the piston and having an output shaft supporting a millstone diamond disc (20) orientated towards the blade to be sharpened.
