The pattern transfer sheet, for heat transfer, has a support layer and a film such as of polyethylene. An adhesive is sprayed on one surface of the film for bonding to the support. The structure is calendered so that the polyethylene film gives the right side of the image to be transferred with the film. The paper support can be peeled off after heat and pressure has been applied to bond the patterned sheet to the substrate. USE/ADVANTAGE - The material is for the transfer of coloured patterns or lettering by heat and pressure. The transfer is cheap and gives an effective patterning action.
