At the bottom of a V shaped hopper (4), inside a casing (1), extends a horizontal shaft (5) carrying shredding wheels (6) ending in blades (7). A second hopper (10), located under the first, houses a drum grinder (11) equipped with granulating teeth (12) exactly plumb to the horizontal shaft. The two grinding areas thus formed interfere through the penetration of the blades into the work zone of the grinding drum. The blades (7) pass through the flanks (8) of the upper hopper (8) through openings (9). The blade point is oriented in the direction of shaft rotation. The granulating teeth (12), carried by crown wheels located around the grinding drum (11), are slightly separated from the blades (7). ADVANTAGE - Utilises only two grinding cylinders.
