The response of the structure is characterised by the values of displacement and acceleration measured on the element inspected. The relationship between the energy applied to the structure and the displacements measured permits the evaluation of the effectiveness of the structural design. The impact of the mass is measured by an accelerometer (9) and the displacement by inductive detectors L,V,D,T (10) fixed on the walls of the structure. The measurements are made using a bridge (11).
