The wooden curtain rod has a central support (1) fixed to it. Open rings (3) slide on the bar and their open parts clear the support. The support is a rod (7) which is fixed to the wall by a base (6). Its other end is bevelled to form a narrow diamond shape over which the rings pass. The ends of the rings are chamfered and the gap between them is 15-25 mm. Hooks (9) are fixed to the rings, at right angles to the gap.
