The structure has a square-section supporting post at each corner of the polygon, grooved on opposite sides to receive the edges of prefabricated panels which form the outer walls, set at an appropriate angle to one another according to the dimensions of the polygon. A framework of radial roof trusses (5) rests on the posts (1). The trusses are attached to a central support (11) and supported by adjustable radial guy lines (6). The prefabricated panels used to form the outer walls are of a semi-industrialised sandwich structure, cut out in the workshop and fitted with doors and windows, with an insulating material between the panels. The building can be roofed with a rigid or supple material. ADVANTAGE - Light in weight, low in cost, quick to erect and covering large surface with no internal supports.
