The container base (2) has liquid passages (12) which discharge into an integral liquid collector (12) with an internal sieve (13). The base surfaces slope towards the collector. The base is pivoted on one side to the container (1), and locked to the container by a hook on the other side. A projecting base support (20) rests on the ground. A sealing rim runs all around the walls to seal them to the base. USE - For storing and handling damp materials such as shavings and turnings from machine tools.
