The advertising system, for use on vehicle, consists of a series of interchangeable panels (8), joined by transverse adhesive elements (9) to form a continuous band connected by top and bottom end components (11) to tube (4) on which the band can be wound and unwound to allow each panel to be displayed for a predetermined period of time through a screen (3) as a motor (5) drives the band. Each of the panels (8) has an aperture (12) which can be detected by a photoelectric cell to position each panel correctly and operate a time switch to control the duration of its exposure. Each panel can be made from polyane, on which the publicity material can be painted, and the screen can be of polycarbonate. The system can incorporate the three screens and sets of moving panels on the two sides and back of a van. ADVANTAGE - Increased number of advertising panels which can be displayed at one time, easily adaptable to a vehicle and capabel of being changed while vehicle is in motion.
