The powered coupling device is designed to fit on to the front of a tractor. It provides a controlled lateral motion, which allows the working tool, fitted on the device, to follow one or several lines, previously made in the soil, and where the lines are above or below the soil level. The device is constructed on a base frame (1), on which is fixed the tool carrier (2), by means of two double carriers (5). Two connecting rods (8) are linked at one end to the frame (1), by axes (4) and at the other end to the double carriers (5) by axes (9) to enable lateral motion to take place as required by the guide wheels (14). USE/ADVANTAGE - It allows the lateral position of the tool to be controlled either by the driver or by an automatic guiding system.
