The system has an expert system (10) and a control computer (14) controlled by an external program. When the external program is executed it calls the expert system through a dialogue module which is generated by an applications generator. The applications generator uses the expert system after compilation together with the external program before compilation. ADVANTAGE - System is automatically and rapidly managed according to common data input to expert system and process control program.
