The system includes a casing (12) containing a fan (4), an exchanger (2) and a sprinkling unit (17). There is a tray (6b) for collecting sprayed fluid. The tray (6b) communicates through an orifice (15) with a second emptying tray (6a) for the collected fluid. This second tray has a fluid outlet orifice (14). There is a float level control (7) for the fluid in the second tray (6a). A thermal plunger (9) prevents ice formation and the second tray (6a) has an outlet filter (8). A wall (13), with the orifice (15), separates the first and second trays and extends in a plane slightly inclined to the vertical. ADVANTAGE - Does not require frequent maintenance which can occur during operation.
