The hand-held nozzle (1), with function (3) and aperture (19) controls, receives hot (16) and cold (17) water via an electrically operated valve (4) and pump (5). Other connections link it with an air compressor (7), detergent pump (6) and sealed disposal unit (18,8), all mains-fed (15). The disposal unit (8), drained via a dished bottom (12), screened outlet (11) and non-return valve (13), is kept at low pressure by a filtered (20) exhaust fan (9). It contains a removable perforated basket (10), lined with a disposable bag (24) to facilitate emptying accumulated debris (22). Drainage may be pump (14)-assisted. Several similar nozzles, with air and water supplies and disposal unit, may be fixed within a cabinet with external controls, for cleaning larger items.
