Input-output control system using electronic memory cards - identifies and records workers by name and place for given day by hours worked and excess or late arrival
The entry and exit of workers is controlled by reading and writing to a memory card (1) through on identification storage unit (11) which accesses data bases (12,13) having necessary information on each individual and historical information about the entry and exit of each card. A central computer (3) has a control program (33) to read/write the cards. Floppy discs (69,70) and direct access memories (71,72) store programs and data and the CPU (68) executes the programs to handle the data. The CPU is connected to a screen (67) and communication lines (73) including a telephonic link and also a printer (66). Card readers (64,65) are mounted on the doors of the work-place. If the employee does not have a card a new one is issued and data is stored on a master card, a master file, a recording file and an issuance of card file. The information is passed to a central location using the telephone line. USE - Control of employee entry and exit onto e.g. building site.
