Route indicator panel for use at bus stop - has illuminated section representing bus on route, allowing estimation of waiting time until arrival of next bus

The display includes a continuous line of adjacent light indicators (2) mounted on a support (1). The line represents a section of the bus route which reaches the stop in question. In order to represent the position of the next bus on the route, several adjacent light sections are illuminated (6) in a position corresp to the bus position on the route. The stop in question is represented by the right hand end of the line (TER) and two previous stops may be represented on the line (MON & ETO). The position of more than one bus may be indicated on the route. ADVANTAGE - The visual display gives an indication of both position and waiting time for next bus.
