The casing consists of stackable components made of an insulating material. There are two types of component. The first has at least one vertical wall (12) in which there is at least one vertical hole (40) which goes through it. The second type has at least one vertical wall (14,64) in which there is at least one vertical hole (66). Some components are adjustable in length and curved to allow construction of angled walls. Tie rods (84) can be used to hold reinforcing bars in place. The components fit closely together and concrete can then be poured to construct the wall. The insulating material can be coated to give the required finish. ADVANTAGE - Insulation material can be left in place after concrete is poured. Strong construction of corner angles.
