Pressurised fluid diffusion from reservoir by turning cylinder - in base and compressing spring against piston with hollow piston rod sucking fluid from reservoir through piston valve
Pressurised fluid diffusion from reservoir by turning cylinder - in base and compressing spring against piston with hollow piston rod sucking fluid from reservoir through piston valve
The piston (1,5) divides the cylinder (2) into two tandem chambers (9,10). Axial piston displacement sucks fluid into the top chamber (9), from a reservoir, through the hollow piston rod (13) extension (11) and piston crown ball valve (12). The upper chamber is pressurised by a spring (3) acting between piston underside (5) and lower chamber base (4). The piston slides in the cylinder, non rotating. The lower piston rod screws into a base (6) cap (23) and a lower extension onto the reservoir. Cap to cylinder rotation may compress or relax the spring. Fluid may diffuse by a top valve (24). ADVANTAGE - Reduced size, number and dimension of component parts. Simplifies assembly and mounting.
