The fixing device allows the rapid assembly of two mechanical elements (1,3) that co-operate with each other along the same direction by means of an activation part. This activation part assures the relative movement of one of these mechanical elements with respect to the other. The fixing of each of these mechanical elements to the activation part is effected by means of a universal joint (5,6). The axis of rotation of this joint is parallel and co-axial to the direction of co-operation of the two mechanical elements (1,3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows fixing of two elements. Allows rapid assembly.
