The motor utilises a magnetic field in the inside of an induction coil and transforms the energy provided from the fall of a metallic piston to mechanical energy. It has a coil (7) which has direct current from a source (6), which is controlled electrically by an inductive proximity detector (4) across a relay (5), which attracts the metallic piston (8) from its position at its lowest position towards a higher position. The current is used at the proximity detector (4) and relay (5) as the piston falls under the force of gravity. The rectilinear movement of the piston is converted to rotational movement by the connecting rod (13) and the crank (17). The connecting rod is made of aluminium to be light and so as not to affect the magnetic field and is long enough so that it is able to transform the linear motion into rotation. The movement of the connecting rod and crank turn a rod in a casing of iron connected to the wheel. USE/ADVANTAGE - Motor with wheel and piston working with gravity to generate electricity using ferro-magnet to assist in upward movement of piston. Increased efficiency.
