The wall to which the door frame is to be attached has a rebated surface. One part (7) of the fixing device is attached to the surface (2) of the wall (1) with screws (8) and pins, approximately parallel to the plane (P) of the door frame. The second part (12) is bolted (13) to the first part using the positioning holes which allow its position to be adjusted at right angles (Q) to the plane. The door frame has a raised edge (14) which is fixed with bolt (15) and suitable washers to the second part. ADVANTAGE - The door frame can be adjusted vertically and checked to ensure it is level before its position is fixed.
