The unit consists in one part a joint section (4) provided with a peripheral skirt (9) so that a seal (6) is in rubbing contact with the periphery surface of the rod (1). The other part the guide section (11) consists of a central well (12) for the sliding passage of the rod (1), and intermediary fold (13) for centring the interior tube (3) and an exterior fold (14) for connecting with the skirt section of the joint. Use/Advantage - As a guide unit to be fitted into vehicle dampers for guiding the rod which is pre-assembled from a minimum number of parts to reduce the build up of tolerances.
