The wheel-mounted loader backhoe has the operator's cab offset to one side from the long centreline with a telescopic arm (8) supporting the loader bucket (9) at the front, and the backhoe (11) at the rear. The seat (7) swivels round a roughly vertical axis at least 180 degrees and can slide on a rail parallel to the long centreline of the machine. The cab is L-shaped in plan enabling the operator to face forwards for using the loader bucket and backwards for the backhoe. The cabin has front and rear doors.
