The alarm generator is triggered by a collision which generates shocks of a predetermined force, and emits an alarm that is broadcast and can be received by emergency services. The alarm is triggered by impact detectors, which automatically activate the transmission of the alarm signal. The alarm signals are received by antennas, parabolic dish receivers or by satellites. Once received, the signals are processed to determine the location of their source, so that emergency vehicles can be guided precisely to the scene of the collision. USE/ADVANTAGE - Automatically alerts emergency services after collision, even though driver may be incapable of calling help. Partic. useful for driver in remote locations, or operating at night.
