The clip nut is mounted on the edge of a panel (P) to be assembled with another panel and is made of metal or other material. It is of "U" form with one of its branches (1) having a screw impression (4) to co-operate with a threaded element and the other branch (2) has a hole (5) for the passage of the threaded element. The two branches are of different form, the one (1) co-operates with a groove (11) on the panel. This assures the mounting of the nut on the panel, the branch (1) carrying the screw impression (4). USE - Assembling by screwing of two panels or such parts.
