Simultaneous disinfection and decontamination of surgical aspiration pipes (7) and dental rinse tray (1). A receptacle (2), placed in the spittoon (1), is connected (6) to the suction pipes (7), partially preventing emptying of the spittoon (1). Rate of flow is such that the spittoon is allowed to fill and the emptying time is greater than the time required for treatment of the suction tubes (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for dental hygiene. Efficient disinfection by control of flow rates and prodn of turbulent flow in pipes by air entrainment. Allows cleaning of several pipes at a time.
