The connection installation includes a cabinet (1) housing a panel mounted so that it can rotate to display both front and rear faces. The panel has a frame that can support several chassis that can each receive separate modules. A module has on its rear face (5), a socket (13-16) for a connector (17-18) that terminates a cable that can be connected either to the external network (6) or to the interior network (7). The front face (4) has sockets (12) for connectors (16) terminating conductors that will connect two of the sockets on the front face, one situated on a source module and the other on a destination module. USE/ADVANTAGE - Overcomes difficulties of complex wiring in connection boxes for movable equipment such as computers or audio-visual and telephonic equipment.
