The procedure consists of using a base panel (10) of plywood or any other timber or derivative, e.g. 5 - 12 mm thick and of appropriate width and length, attaching a border of four rectangular strips (3 - 6) with adhesive and nails, and lining the inside of the border with moulding strips (7). The rectangular space inside the moulding is fitted with a rectangle of plywood (8) 5 mm thick and set 8 cm inside the moulding, and the corners of the panel can be finished with dowels (11) inserted through the border and base panel. ADVANTAGE - Easier to make, while retaining required strength and appearance.
