The armoured door has a rectangular framed steel sheeting skin (1) with hinges (7) on one (4) of its two sides (4,5) and a multiple bolt lock (17,18) on the other side. Five bolts (26-30) slide into recesses in the doorframe (60). A wooden panel (2) fits inside the steel frame of the door. The lock has a C section cover (16), extending over two leaves (42,43), and is housed in a casing (3). Its edge (16) is dovetailed over its full height to work with the cover leaf dovetailing. A heat insulation plate (25) fits over the lock housing. USE/ADVANTAGES - Simply reinforced, built round single facing panel.
