Automatic oven for cooking by wood fire, is controlled by a complementary source of energy and has an automatic supply of combustible material to the hearth. The oven chamber is heated by mobile trays containing the combustible material, acting as the hearth. Wood is loaded into trays (12) in a loading zone (7) external to the oven chamber (1).
