Semi-collective heating and cooling system for residential building - uses single water circuit to carry hot or cooled water, and local controls in each room to direct water to heater or cooler

The heating system uses low pressure water for heating and cooling of rooms in a residential building. A collective heater (1,2) and a collective cooler (4,5) are used to supply a collective circuit (7,8) with hot or cold flows to the rooms. The rooms have heaters (19) and convection coolers (20) installed and have individual thermostats (21) associated with local controllers (22). The controllers determine whether the water flow will be delivered to a heater or cooler. ADVANTAGE - Allows existing circulating water heating systems to be adapted to additionally provide cooling in summer.
