The glove has a rigid float (20) extending backwards from a prow (26) as far as beyond the wrist. It's back has a cut-out (58) for the wrist. The float is moulded round the glove and a tubular cuff (50) is fastened round the wrist by a slide clasp fastener (52). The glove has a base wall made of rigid material, such as moulded plastics material. Synthetic foam material is moulded on to the base wall and around the glove to form the float. The glove and cuff are made in flexible material such as "neoprene" (RTM). USE - Glove with float for water sports and especially for riding on the crests of waves.
