The vehicle has a broad deep axial central tunnel (1), commonly containing the batteries.The seat has a frame (3) with seat supports (4,4') which are attached to each other by cross tubes and support seat back members (5). The seat frame has two longitudinal members (6,6') attached to top sections (7) which slide on rails which are supported on outriggers (2) attached to the sides of the central tunnel. The lever (8) locks the sliding mechanism, and the seat belt fastens to clips (10) attached to the seat frame. ADVANTAGE - Allows the use of a wide high floor tunnel with ergonomic seating.
