The projectiles have a suction pad at their distal end, attached by a collar (5) on its rear face to a spacing or guide disc (4). The disc is sized to prevent contact between the edges of the suction pad and the internal walls of the firing tube (3) of the blowpipe. The guide disc may be circular, of greater diameter than that of the suction pad. The shaft of the projectile comprises an elongate conical or similar body extending backwardly from the rear face of the suction pad. ADVANTAGE - Avoids sticking in firing tube, eg. as tube becomes internally moist.
