The dimension measuring device consists of a pair (1) of arms (1a,1b) hinged at an axis (5), to which is attached a spring (R3) which keeps the arms (1a,1b) open so that they are in contact with the internal surface of the pipe. a detector (15) is fitted to the arms (1a,1b). The device has another pair of arms (2a,2b) also hinged at the axis (5), but aligned perpendicular to the first pair of arms (1a,1b). The arms (2a,2b) are also fitted with springs (R1) and a detector so that the arms are in contact with the inside surface of the pipe. USE/ADVANTAGE - Heating appts..
