The mouthpiece is formed integrally with the instrument body, with an internal right conical configuration defined by a wooden surface (4) which forms a planar angle of 18 deg. with the mouthpiece opening The edge surfaces of the mouthpiece opening define an angle of 6 deg. relative to the instrument body, and the overall length of the mouthpiece portion is approximately 40mm. A connecting portion (3) of about 25mm in length is located by means of shallow grooves formed in the body of the instrument adjacent to the mouthpiece. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for clarinets saxophones etc. Simple construction giving strong, controllable sound quality.
