The tap consists of a conventional structure where at the bottom part of which is found the rubber o-ring seal (4) which is placed between the body of the cartridge (3) and the collector plug (5). The seal (4) is housed in an annular seat (7) situated in the collector plug (5) that has an annular edge in the zone immediately below the seat whose upper face is provided with a slight slope downwards towards its outer edge. USE/ADVANTAGE - Seal in water taps which when pressurised is forced against the tap housing to prevent external leakage thus allowing for casting tolerance variations in the tap's housing.
