This device is of the type comprising a vertical wall and a ceiling, each of which is composed of a frame bearing anchoring means. This device furthermore comprises a chassis (3) fitted with castors (25), to which the frame (1) of the single vertical wall is connected via its lower part and means (4 and 5a) for immobilising, at any desired location, with respect to the bed or to the examination table.
