Automatic survey and warning system of obstacles on motorways during the presence of fog

摘要

Survey elements which may be under the road continually and automatically monitor the motion of the traffic. When a metallic mass such as a vehicle comes to rest (as in an accident) the system will detect this, and turn on warning lights which will alert oncoming drivers of the hazard ahead. Thus the system is a safety device, designed to reduce the consequences of accidents especially in conditions of poor visibility e.g. Fog. IMAGE
