PURPOSE:To improve the deodorizing function, easiness of handling, and safety of the title deodorant by packing a powdery mixture contg. aluminum sulfate, zinc sulfate, and a hydrogen ionic strength conditioner as the essential components in a water-decomposable packing material to obtain the deodorant. CONSTITUTION:In the deodorant to be used in the closed-system toilet of aircraft, etc., a dry blend composition consisting of aluminum sulfate, zinc sulfate, and a hydrogen ionic strength conditioner is used as the composition having a long-time deodorizing power for the malodorous gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. A dose of the composition is packed in a water-soluble packing material so that the dry blend composition can be directly thrown into the toilet. The trouble such as the scattering of powder and deposition of powder on the body and clothes can be eliminated in addition to having excellent deodorizing function.
