The dust scattering prevention modulo null in soil improvement

PURPOSE: To prevent dust from during soil improvement work so as to improve working environment by providing a water ejection nozzle at the end of the boom of a self-traveling track, and ejecting water to form a water curtain around a clawed header. ;CONSTITUTION: A cement type hardening agent is sprinkled over subject ground, and a track 1 is driven and a boom 2 is operated to cause a clawed head 3 to penetrate into soil. The clawed head 3 is rotated and moved by moving the track 1 and the boom 2 to drill and agitate soil and to mix it with the hardening agent. During this mixing work, water is ejected from the nozzle 42 of a water ejection device 4 to form a water curtain K. Dust generated during this mixing operation using the clawed head 3 can be prevented from scattering beyond the water curtain K.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
